My Projects (BR)

In this selection, I would like to showcase a range of photovoltaic projects developed between 2020 and 2023. These projects represent a diverse sample of various applications and sectors, including residential, commercial buildings, and rural areas. Each project was carefully planned and designed in accordance with established standards and best practices, ensuring efficiency and reliability.

β–Ά All the PV projects were based on the following standards:
  1. ABNT NBR 16690 Standard: This standard establishes the requirements for the design of photovoltaic systems connected to the electrical grid in Brazil. It addresses aspects such as system sizing, component selection, installation, surge protection, among others.
  2. ABNT NBR 5410 Standard: This standard establishes the rules for low voltage electrical installations, covering aspects such as cable selection and installation, protection devices, grounding and other electrical considerations.
  3. ABNT NBR 15569 Standard: This standard addresses the guidelines for installing photovoltaic panels in buildings. It includes requirements related to mechanical strength, fastening, fire protection, among others.
  4. Standard IEC 62446: This international standard establishes the requirements for carrying out tests, inspections and documentation of photovoltaic systems connected to the grid. It defines procedures for verifying system compliance, including performance measurements, visual inspection, and safety testing.
  5. Electric Utility Regulations: In addition to the regulations mentioned above, it is important to follow the specific guidelines and requirements established by the local electric utility. They may include network connection procedures, installation standards, and documentation requirements.
  6. NEC (National Electrical Code): Establishes comprehensive safety requirements for electrical installations in the United States, ensuring proper grounding, overcurrent protection, and wiring practices.
  7. NYISO (New York Independent System Operator) Standards: Specific guidelines for grid interconnection, energy dispatch, and reliability in New York State.
  8. ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas) Standards: Operational requirements for grid integration and energy distribution in Texas.
  9. UL 1703 and UL 1741 Standards: Governs safety and performance for photovoltaic modules and inverters, ensuring reliability in large-scale systems.
  10. IEEE 1547 Standard: Provides guidelines for the interconnection and communication of distributed energy resources with electric grids.
  11. APS (Arizona Public Service) Grid Standards: Establishes interconnection and operational requirements tailored to the state of Arizona.

Please keep in mind that this selection is just a sample of the projects I have completed during this period.
